Jed Smith – Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer at Hot Chilli, Jed plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community impact. He oversees the design and management of all systems within the company, ensuring that operations run efficiently while upholding the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Jed is also entrusted with maintaining Hot Chilli’s ISO-recognized Quality Assurance, ensuring it continues to benefit both the company and its clients.
In his role, Jed is instrumental in shaping strategic plans, procedures, and operations that align with Hot Chilli’s growth trajectory. Since joining the company in 2020, Jed has been dedicated to supporting all aspects of the business and maintaining its high standards of quality.
Jed’s career began with hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, where he honed his skills in time management, procedural adherence, and safety in extreme environments. After returning from the industry, he completed a Certificate III in Refrigeration and is currently pursuing an MBA at Victoria University. In addition to his responsibilities at Hot Chilli, Jed is also leading the development of the parent company, JEPAX, driving its strategic direction and growth.
